The Alamo, National, Dollar, Thifty, and Enterprise have free shuttle service from the Port Of Miami to the Miami International Airport Rental Car Center which is located directly across from Miami International Airport. Alamo and National share there shuttles and Dollar, Thifty, and Enterprise share there’s. They circle the port area and head for the Rental Car Center when they have a full load of passengers. Some drivers will ask to see you car rental reservation because some cruise passengers are looking for free transportation back to MIA before they allow you to board the shuttles. Service is frequent and usually the wait is less than fifteen minutes.

Cruising on the Sensation out of Miami (May 30 - June 3).  We're renting a car after we get off of the ship so that we can sightsee around Miami and drive back up to Pompano Beach where we're staying before we fly out of FLL the next day. 

 

It's been a couple of years since we last cruised, and we have never rented a car right after debarking the cruise.  Since the Sensation is a smaller ship, debarking all passengers shouldn't take THAT long, but I can't remember what time we were off the ship when we sailed her back in 2015.  What is a good time to set our rental pickup time?

With a new RCCL Miami terminal are there any changes to the free shuttles to Miami Airport (MIA)? Do Alamo/National and Dollar/Enterprise still provide free shuttles?
