mom4mom Posted April 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2017 trying to find a quick answer as to whether smoking is allowed outside on deck 5 on Adventure OTS. If so is it on the Port side or starboard? I'm booking one of my first balconies on deck 6 midship and don't want to smell smoke wafting upward. Thanks for any input. kwazi07 Posted April 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2017 I assume you mean deck 4, as there is no exterior deck on deck 5 except the helipad. Otherwise, smoking is allowed on the starboard side. Sent from Tapatalk

catspaws65 Posted April 3, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Outdoor smoking areas will be designated on the starboard side of all ships; with the exception of Oasis-class ships that will allow smoking on the port side of the ships.

Not necessarily, October last year on Liberty of the Seas the smoking areas were on the port side of the ship.
bouhunter Posted March 29, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 29, 2018 I think I need to move my cabin to the other side of the ship. Joan Seriously?? It will be two floors below you and it's OUTDOORS with plenty of wind and breeze. Unlikely that it will be noticeable at all at any time. But do what you have to do............ Cigar King Posted March 29, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 29, 2018 FWIW I was on Freedom earlier this month, and the cigar lounge was packed every night. Royal was selling plenty of drinks there.

Jana Posted March 29, 2018 #17 Share Posted March 29, 2018 This info is most helpful. I think I need to move my cabin to the other side of the ship. Joan Before you do that, check again. I believe that on the Adventure smoking is allowed on PORT. This might have to do with the kids' waterpark on starboard, so they switched it to port for the whole ship. Check before you make the change! .

I have no idea, really, just trying to think of something that makes sense. I was sure it was on port so hoped she didn't make a change she'd regret later (although as dreadpirate3 opined, she'd probably never know the difference ;) ) . DHADEN Posted April 18, 2018 #24 Share Posted April 18, 2018 I will never understand that!Elvis They are fixated on making as much revenue space as possible. Actually, they TOOK AWAY a revenue (selling drinks and cigars) and put in NON-REVENUE library/card room. MAKES NO SENSE - RCI (if you are listening), BRING BACK THE CONNESSUER LOUNGE!

MAKES NO SENSE - RCI (if you are listening), BRING BACK THE CONNESSUER LOUNGE! Totally agree. I spend a lot of time in the Connoisseur Club in the evening and it is almost always busy to packed, with lots of people buying cigars and drinks. So sad to see they're getting rid of them.
