transportation from Fort Lauderdale hotel to port of Miami

I need suggestions for transportation from a Fort Lauderdale hotel to the port of Miami on August 19 2017. Also need suggestions from the port of Miami back to the F Lauderdale airport. Our return flight is at 1: 45 p.m. and hope there is some reasonable transportation option that could get me there. I can't find the threads that deal with this issue. Thanks for your help.

Check with the hotel in Ft Lauderdale. We stayed in one that had shuttle service to the port of Miami. It wasn't too expensive $10-15 each. We bought Carnival transfers to get back to the airport.

Shared shuttles from SAS, QLS, Go Airport, MJS and others are popular - fares start at about $15 per person each way. The ride takes about an hour. Check the shuttle company web sites to see if they pick up at your hotel, which will save you a trip back to FLL.

 

UberX will get you to POM for about $40. If you have a large party, or someone packs like my wife :eek: you might need UberXL for about $75

 

Private transport form Larry's Limos or car service from Go Airport should run closer to $100 each way.

 

With a 1:45 flight you have lots of time to get to FLL after your cruise.

Depends on size of party and luggage but Uberx and Uberxl are always options. The mentioned shuttles services above are good as well.

Just Google Uber coupon codes or ride codes. The same way you would with any website you'd be shopping from. Here's one, narendirak3ue

Most uber coupon codes are for first time users. I haven't seen any others lately.

They were more available when uber was promoting in new cities.

If this is your first trip using UBER, you will get 15 bucks off your first ride, essentially the trip from fort lauderdale to Miami would cost about 20 - 30 bucks with the discount. I usually install the app when I need it and uninstall when done just because I run out of space.
