Drink less on Alaska cruise

I have been searching but no luck, DW and I along with her sister and husband and our niece are on EOS this June to Alaska for 7 nights and was wondering if anybody drank less alcohol because it was colder than say a Caribbean cruise. Still up in the air about how much we will drink.

I'm pretty sure we did. Excursions every day - no sitting by the pool with a cold drink. You could always try for a couple of days and then cancel OR buy one after a couple of days if you see you are drinking more than you thought.

I didn't but then again my in-laws were with us. :o

My wife and I did the Southbound on Radiance and people were drinking just as much as a Caribbean cruise because it was not cold. Temperature was around 65 to 75 for the 14 days we were in Alaska.

We did Alaska on the NCL Sun and had the unlimited beverage package, but probably drank less than on other cruises. Not sure what the reason for that was.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've been watching for specials for the drink packages and finally saw one today on my RCCL cruise planner. Instead if the $55/day, it's $54 and includes the VOOM package. May buy just one for us and wait to see if something else is offered

We were with a large group and I would say I don't really think so. Not measurably at least. Yes, not as much day drinking on the pool deck (although I was out there long enough to sport a sun burn), but made up for it in the casino.... And I also don't tend to go too crazy before dinner anyhow.
