Miami Embarkation

We are sailing on the Escape out of Miami on June 3. Our eDocs say we can arrive to the pier at whatever time we want because we have booked transportation through NCL. We have 2 Silver Latitudes members, 4 Bronze members, and 2 kids (8 and 6). Three of the 6 adults will require assistance to board, which we've already arranged through the Assistance Desk and the mobility at sea people. We do want to have lunch in one of the dining rooms as opposed to the buffet. What would be the best time to arrive, in the opinion of people who have done it before?

If you don't mind waiting get there at 10. This will be enough time to park, check in, etc. and find a seat near the area you enter for boarding at the port. You can also let one of the NCL attendants know your situation and they will likely get you in an early group. :)

Our experience on our last three NCL cruises has been that the wheelchair escorts will not take the wheelchair person to the dining room. i don't know why, even when we've explained it is easier to be served than to have to get food from buffet. They still wheel to the special needs table in buffet.

So, after the escort leaves I help my husband to slowly walk to elevator and go down to aft dining room.

We are sailing in April for transatlantic on ncl Star. We have a penthouse suite. Do we get priority embarkation? Does anyone know? Thanks

Welcome to Cruise Critic. You will have a private checkin and will be escorted onboard to the suites restaurant (Cagneys) for lunch.
