I mean even first Queen Marry is bigger than Titanic (I remember visiting in San Diego). Therefore, in my opinion, comparing it to Titanic is not all correct. deliver42 Posted September 7, 2020 #482 Share Posted September 7, 2020 Almost every ship is larger than the Titanic in the major cruise line's fleet. I believe I read someplace that the Titanic was only 18,000 tons. That may be an error, but that's what I read.

Rare Germancruiser Posted September 8, 2020 #489 Share Posted September 8, 2020 (edited) Titanic was around 49 000 BRT. Very small compared to these monstrosities of RCI. I am not a big fan of those ships with the aft looking not at all like a ship- but thats our modern times. The bow sections get smaller ( shorter) by the ship- the aft more bulky. Anyhow the box section of RCI ships are still much nicer than those of the X- ships! Edited September 8, 2020 by Germancruiser
