ACoupleAtSea Posted May 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Does anyone wanna take a guess at what they think the pricing will be for 2 adults, 2 children (4 and 2) for a Bermuda 5 day Inside Cabin? Same cruise one Rccl's Anthem of the Seas is about 2k. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

moki'smommy Posted May 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2017 A rational starting point guess is double the competition...and watch the price increase over the first few days.
Rare carolina_yankee Posted May 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Friends booked a 7A for the 6 night Bermuda sailing for $3500 with an onboard booking credit, which put it around $3800. Ouch. Norwegian has a 7 night itinerary for similar dates out of New York on their newest ships for $2400 for 2 in a standard balcony. That more than a 50% premium for the Disney difference. We're book on Wednesday. At those prices, I'll likely be in a 9A or 9B. Dirk

DCLCrazy Posted May 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2017 I just called. For the initial 10/4 5 night sailing for a cat 5b balcony for three people comes to $4380. [emoji33] Sent from my iPhone using Forums

We booked a cat 7A for $1903/pp. I was actually pleasantly surprised.

Note: that balcony on NCL will include drinks and/or specialty dining and/or internet use along with that extra day.
ACoupleAtSea Posted May 16, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted May 16, 2017 Does anyone know what the lowest inside cabin fare would be for any 5 day to Bermuda. 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 1). We are hoping to keep it under 3500. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
DCLCrazy Posted May 16, 2017 #12 Share Posted May 16, 2017 I want to say it would be more than 4k bc it was for us 3. But not sure if that was the lowest inside category. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
makiramarlena Posted May 18, 2017 #13 Share Posted May 18, 2017 for the 4 passengers the October 4 sailing, $4142.66 in a standard inside (!). I think it will only go up. only $100 more for an oceanview. $3892 for the other October sailings. I can go on the RCL Anthem in a balcony for half of what DCL is charging for an inside. Not sure DCL is worth that much for 5 days.

This was exactly my point on our British Isles cruise. We initially booked DCL on opening day (on board discount could not be used on one of the B2B legs), and then found that we could cruise Princess in a balcony for half of what a DCL inside cabin cost. Needless to say, we canceled DCL. On the other hand, it seems that DCL continues to fill cabins at their high fares...so I guess there are some people willing to pay it. Of course when they don't fill at prevailing rates, they offer very steep TA and CM discounts as well as the discounts available to the rest of us. makiramarlena Posted May 18, 2017 #15 Share Posted May 18, 2017 I had the British Isles. I'm doing a Med/Adriatic on RCL now. It's about the same price but 5 days longer and oceanview, not inside. There are still plenty of passengers willing to pay the premium for Disney.
llachance Posted May 18, 2017 #16 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Two, inside cabin, deck six October 19th 5 day for a little over 2K. Fine with me as I will be at sea for my birthday again.
