So nice of you to do this for us. We will be sailing this cruise next week and can't wait!!!

Have fun! It's a beautiful ship with a great staff. They will go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience- just ask.

We went to Howl at the Moon on the final night and the Rock of Ages performers played and sang along! A great time!! I did not see a posted sign displaying the names of the performers but took a picture. Hope this helps ID them for you.

Thanks for remembering. I actually don't recognize any of them. We will be back on in October. Will be interested to see who the piano players are then. Thanks for all your work this week, and welcome home.

What time is this? 8am'ish? Why are there so many people and is this common? (Sorry - have never taken NCL so this seems unusual to be there so early. What time do you board?)

We got to the port around 9:30. They had not yet opened the lines for security. We were some of the first through because we were in the Haven. If you are in the Haven you breeze through quickly. Let folks know it though, and follow the signs.

How crowded is the Haven area? Do you think VIBE passes are necessary?

Honestly, We rally did not need the Vibe passes. The Haven area was never too crowded and the hot tubs were empty most of the week. Vibe has a fun party atmosphere, whereas the Haven is calm. You can get served drinks in both places but the Vibe bar has easier access.

Hard time with internet uploading today. Trying!

This was a HUGE issue during this cruise. It takes a lot of time to wait between uploads and to even upload a photo. Bad internet I suppose.

A few questions: first, what kind of camera are you using? Your photos are beautiful!

Do you find the high glass on the Haven sundeck to interfere with your view at all? (I am looking at Deck 18 for a possible place to watch sail away as the rails are lower).

Was that last photo taken at "Blue Hole?"

Glad you are enjoying Bermuda! It sure looks beautiful! And thanks again for taking us all along with you. Checking in on your live review has been a fun part of my week!

My iPhone 6s. Nothing special - I don't have time to fuss nor did I have the packing space.

The snorkel place was opposite where the ship was docked - across the "bay" or whatever it is called. Not sure what the name of the area is. Lots of caves though.

I did not find that the glass was an issue for pictures. You can stick your iPhone through an opening and take a pic if you need to. Deck 18 was HOT on the Starboard side during sail away. That is why we moved to Haven after passing the SOL.

The pictures are great! Where on Bermuda is the restaurant? Also... did you take a ships excursion snorkeling and to the caves or did you do it yourself? Any info would be helpful in our planning.

Oh, and the snorkel trip was the Rising Son excursion.

Happy, Happy birthday to Ms Savannah! Hoping for a little Haven love ourselves - my 45th birthday and our anniversary is on sailaway on the 18th (champagne would make it so, so much less painful to hit 45:loudcry:.

Loving every minute of your review - if you do not mind sharing, what is your "facebook name" - my DH is a member, and we would love to see your videos to compliment the great photos and commentary.

Enjoy your day at sea!

Amy

Thanks - she had a great time! Tell your butler (give a tip) and he will take care of everything. BTW - sorry about the videos. The internet was sooo bad that the quality suffered a bit.

A few last minute things now that I am home and recovered from food poisoning. That is correct. On our last night we (my mom and I) either got food poisoning or Noro. But odd that we ate the same thing and both fell ill at the same time...

One other thing. I tipped our Haven staff early on in the cruise. I know that the extra-great treatment we received was a result of that - rightfully so. I also tipped them at the end of our trip. They did a super job for us. We never "wanted" for anything.

I hope you all have as great a trip as we did (excluding the last night illness of course!) Have fun!!

To be clear, if you are in the Haven you can breeze through security too?

They move you to the front of the line. As long as you have your paperwork, passport and no liquids you are good to go! You then follow the Haven signs and escorts to the Haven waiting area where they take your edocs, photo and give you your key card and boarding number. You are the first ones on the ship. The butlers escort groups to the ship and onto the elevator up to the Haven around 11:00 (depending upon when the previous cruisers are off of the ship). You are then allowed to drop bags off in your room and begin your cruise!
