Dining on Princess: "Could be better, could be verse, all around hhokay"

In MDR they are served like drinks :)

Nice...

And selections are richer than in buffets.

 

I also like Princess MDR setup with sofa seats.

Is this a drink or a soup? If it's a soup, I've never seen it served that way. I'd love to see someone get a Gazpacho down through a straw!

Have not been on the Royal or Regal yet, going on Royal in October... so will have to check out the buffet. We feel the same way about the buffet on Celebrity Lines... we no longer go to the MDR on Celebrity... like the buffet way better.
We had great experiences with the buffet on Royal Princess - and the food was kept hot, not just warm. We especially liked the themed food. On our last 10 day cruise on Royal Princess we never ate in the MDR at all. No reason to.
