Hotels not too far from Boston pier that may have free parking

I don't think it will be that difficult but my husband is nervous about driving to the pier. I'm wondering if there are any hotels that we could stay at that might have free parking for the week?

Short answer: No.

There are a couple of hotels that offer packages, but they are not near the port.

Driving to the pier is very easy, really nothing to worry about.

There are hotels in Quincy and Dorchester which offer Park/cruise packages, but they are 2-2.5* hotels that IMO could be more difficult to find and drive to than the port.

 

One strategy we recommend is that you find a hotel about an hour out of Boston and drive directly to the port after 9:00 am when the rush hour traffic has eased. It all depends on your exact date, what your hotel budget is, and what direction you're coming from. If you provide those details, we can make suggestions.

Most of the hotels require a one or two night stay before and or after the cruise .I prefer driving to the cruise port and leaving the car there ,it is safer as well.
