QShip Posted August 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2017 We will be on a Celebrity cruise (Millennium) during August and are looking at booking an Azamara cruise for next July while onboard. Can anyone advise on the current perks being offered? We have not cruised on Azamara before, but understand that with things that are included the perks tend to be less generous. Is that really the case?
excitedofharpenden Posted August 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2017 You will get a %age discount on the fare of between 3 and 10% depending upon your loyalty level that is reciprocal with Celebrity Captain's Club and a $200 per cabin onboard credit. There is also a 50% reduced deposit. The future cruise desk on Millennium should have the details of what the Azamara benefits are, but I'd go armed with the information and terms just in case they don't. Grandma Cruising Posted August 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Not sure what you mean by perks - do you mean deals - at present Azamara are offering a 'nights on us' deal, where the price of selected 2018 cruises is discounted by the cost of a number of nights - the longer the cruise, the more nights it's discounted by. If you book early ( at least 12 months before the cruise) they offer onboard credit (OBC) depending on the type of stateroom booked ($300 for an inside/oceanview to $1000 for the top suites). The OBC can be spent on anything onboard except in the casino. All cruises except transatlantic cruises include a free evening excursion called the Azamazing Evening. They also have a great deck party called White Night. Sent from my iPad using Forums

The nights on us ends soon and the OP said they wanted to book an Azamara cruise for next July so the early booking OBC offer wouldn't apply. I'm not sure what and when the next offers will be. They seem more scarce these days. Phil
QShip Posted August 11, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Thanks, everyone. It will be our first Azamara cruise, so the benefits will apparently not apply since we cannot qualify as Le Club Voyage members. It does not look like our Celebrity Captain's Club status will help with onboard booking benefits.
hiccups Posted August 11, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Thanks, everyone. It does not look like our Celebrity Captain's Club status will help with onboard booking benefits. I'm not sure if it will help you get any discounts for an Azamara cruise that you'd like to book while on Celebrity, but your Captain's Club number is the same as your LCV number. Before we booked on Azamara, I opened an LCV account and we were given reciprocal status based on our RCI points. On our first Azamara cruise we received benefits (free internet minutes, free bag of laundry, etc), and we were able to qualify for the LCV discounts when booking our second cruise onboard. IMO, Azamara has one of the better loyalty programs--we received benefits we actually used.
Marmaduke Posted August 11, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 11, 2017 As an Elite/Discover would I get 5% off an Azamara cruise if I booked whilst on board Celebrity?
