Coffee Ripple images?

Read somewhere that Cafe al Bacio now had a machine that prints your picture on your coffee. Is this true? Is the there an extra charge? Can you choose which image?

I remember it being something that Celebrity may have tried but I don't think it ever took off. I think there was also a extra charge involved.

 

Haven't seen it on any ships or heard any more about it. It was probably more trouble then what it was worth and not cost effective.

I was on one ship this spring the day it was installed. Nobody could succesfully program it and the image was fuzzy. The next time I saw one was on Infinity, if I remember correctly. There were a variety of stock images. i remember a heart and a teddy bear. No mention of having any personalized images.

Never saw one of these machines. But if you're lucky to have Carlos as your barista, you're in for a treat, he's a real coffee artist. This is one of the cappuccino's he made for my wife:
