mainmast Posted August 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2017 I am aware hairdryers are provided in the cabins but I find them very poor. I normally take a travel hairdryer which converts to the lower voltage. I would like to know if anyone has taken a 240 v hairdryer and it worked the same as it would on UK voltage. Rare Keith1010 Posted August 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2017 I would post this on the cruise line board for the line you are sailing. Keith

Keith Thanks for that but I thought most cruise lines would be the same, that's why I did it this way
Clarea Posted August 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 15, 2017 Thanks for that but I thought most cruise lines would be the same, that's why I did it this way You would be surprised at how different cruise line can be when it comes to small details. Legend of the Seas had hair dryers in every stateroom, but we don't know if TUI maintained that policy.
cb at sea Posted August 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 15, 2017 I bring my 1850 watt dryer. No sense in bring something that doesn't work! Bring what works for you. They have 2 sets of outlets...US and EU...they do NOT have UK outlets.
