Although there are some lovely hotels in Battery Park, it is very isolated at night. Soho and the Village are great. To me,Midtown is the best location. There are lots of hotels and restaurants. I'm thinking you would get the best value there as well. Good luck whatever you decide. Have a great vacation. Enjoy my amazing hometown.

Last year my Uber driver canceled my trip at LGA because he couldnt find us with all that mess.

I fly in and out of JFK and LGA pretty regularly.

Have not had much of an issue with the ongoing construction at LGA.

I book for convenience and price.

Uber or a car service work well in NY to/from the pier.

Returning I would do the first group self walkoff with bags and get a private transfer to MIA.

It's 22 miles but traffic can be an issue.

I think you may be pushing an 11:30 flight home from Miami.

Do you use that car service frequently? I'm flying into JFK next and being picked up by my parents to go to their home in Westhampton but then going to NYC and flying out of LGA. Usually just do taxi or Uber but like the prices of the car service.

I'm not sure when your trip is, but I would grab a hotel now as NYC prices hardly ever go down!! Once you have a booking, then you can watch for a better deal

Yes, I've heard that from others. We use a car service from our town. People going to Manhattan should use a car service or yellow cab. In December, we're taking our first flight from LGA in over a year. We'll leave lots of extra time and 🤞 lol.

I already have a booking through hotels.com in midtoen, but hav a few airbnb's I am actually cosidering too.
