Kroosin Posted August 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2017 DH and I have always cruised in the height of the summer but this year we've retired and are cruising in Italy and Greece in November. I'm wondering if some trains and ferries etc. still run at all and if they do how much of a change in schedule should we expect. We'd like to take a ferry or hydrofoil out of Naples, ride the train to Taormina from Messina, do a Hop on Hop off in Athens etc. but we're too early in the year to get posted schedules for many of these things and I'd like to know how things worked out for others. Thanks!
CruiserBruce Posted August 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2017 If you ask this on the Ports boards, you will get many experienced travelers, local experts, and find some info already exists there.
