HAL & Celebrity

A question for people who have cruised both lines. Are these 2 cruise lines more alike with the ages they attract & their entertainment venues. We have sailed HAL, so I know what to expect from them. We are taking our 1st Celebrity cruise next Feb.

They are quite similar. I believe the food is comparable, the service and comfort on HAL is superior, the entertainment on Celebrity a bit livelier. Aesthetically, I greatly prefer HAL's lines, wooden promenade deck and general decor, while Celebrity ships are a bit ugly - and seem just a bit more crowded. They are the most similar two of the mass market lines.

Celebrity -

My experience is no.

 

I found the passengers sailing HAL were quite a bit older then those on Celebrity.
