Just back from our cruise that started in Southampton - had a wonderful time based on your help and recommendations.

 

We stayed at Ennios - and enjoyed a wonderful lunch there. We visited Stonehenge after walking to the central station and getting our HOHO tickets in Salisbury - no timed tickets and we got there before the biggest crowds. My husband was thrilled to see the Magna Carta at the Salisbury cathedral.

 

Also enjoyed a fabulous tapas dinner at La Regatta. We didn't make reservations and on Friday it was packed but we were able to enjoy tapas at the bar.

 

We walked (great exercise) to the QE2 terminal and off we sailed after a most enjoyable two days in Southampton - the weather was great too!
