heatescapee Posted September 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2017 On Coastal cruise now, enjoying. But, as suite guests for the first time, isn't there a faster boarding registration line that we should have been sent to? We were in line well over an hour at San Pedro and it was certainly not a Suites line. Thanks! I'm just wondering!
Rare cruisestitch Posted September 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2017 What line were you in? Did anyone check your XPress pass to see what line you should have been in? Were all the queues moving that slowly? There normally is a check in line for suites at most ports but sometimes other lines actually are quicker! heatescapee Posted September 29, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Cruisestitch, thanks, we were in a Concierge line at a far end, were told much later there was a Suite line at opposite end. Couldn't see progress of lines or desk labeling due to crowds. And yes, I told a lady directing us we were in a suite and she didn't seem to care...only asked if we were Elite, which I didn't know (or care). neverbeenhere Posted September 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Yes, you need to be watching when you enter the lobby fun. There are signs for every status you can think of. Sent from my RCT6303W87DK using Forums mobile app
Alakegirl Posted September 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Looks like a perhaps-inexperienced terminal employee made a mistake. They work for the port, not Celebrity, by the way. Next time you will know to watch for the signage. But if you were really in line for an hour i would guess that all the lines were running slowly. Perhaps there was some sort of problem with that day's embarkation process?
heatescapee Posted September 29, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted September 29, 2017 :)Lesson learned. Maybe this will help other first-time suite guests. Thanks!
CHEZMARYLOU Posted September 29, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Some times the agent misses the word suite on the express pass but will pick up on CC status. Happened to us in Seward this year. I had seen the sign for suite guests and when she directed us to another line I knew to ask about the suite line, she apologized and redirected us.
