I can't wait to try the meringue dessert! Sounds delish to me. But, I really wasn't impressed with this restaurant at lunch and dinner wasn't worth paying for before the changes. Probably still not...but the casino usually gives us a freebie. And it is good for FREE!

I think the NEW menu sounds fantastic. More seafood, which is what I remember from my trip to Italy 30 yrs ago. The old menu sounded more like NY italian, not Italy italian.

We'll be on the Breeze in Feb, so I am excited about the menu.... might have to eat there more than once.

I was not thrilled with the new menu but didnt cancel our reservation a few weeks ago on the Vista. My husband and I actually enjoyed it more than we thought we would. They seem to really be going for presentation. That was the big change we saw. Everything was delicious. Still worth the small upcharge fee to have a special quiet experience.

This Bronx born Italian had 2 dinners and 1 lunch at the Cucina, and the only satisfactory item I had was the antipasto. Chicken parm was like an oversized hockey puck and the pasta dish I had was covered in a very sweet sauce.

I may be jaded since I had a Grandma who made pasta and breads from scratch and ate many meals on Arthur Ave., so take my criticisms in light of my heritage. I like my pasta and gravy, not sauce! But anyone who likes Olive Garden (I don't) may enjoy the Cucina.

Specialty dining on the Horizon just opened for reservations, and I reserved at the Steakhouse, JiJi's and Tepanyaki, but certainly not the Cucina!

What did you like best? We have a reservation in June. Any good desserts?

Just got off the Vista yesterday and they mentioned during the cooking demonstration that Cucina had a brand new menu. I had booked a reservation there prior to sailing just to say I tried it (never been there before), but I ended up canceling. We did go there for lunch, but I wasn't too impressed so neither of us felt the need to go back.

Thanks for the menus, as long as they got the short ribs, we'll go a couple times each cruise!;p

Try the short ribs if you haven't, before you walk away completely, love them!;)
