jewliana Posted October 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2017 I have been scanning through the threads and see that the rules have been relaxed in the MDR but I am wondering about specialty dining. My husband is so thrilled not to be packing suits but will have dress pants and collared shirts. Will this be OK in all the Specialty Dining Venues? Thanks in advance!! OCruisers Posted October 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2017 No Problem! Long pants and a shirt (can be a golf shirt) with a collar is perfectly fine to wear to any of the Specially Dining restaurants. Enjoy! :D

Clarea Posted October 12, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 12, 2017 Thank you for this information. Are you saying that golf shorts/dress shorts are allowed in the specialty restaurants? Thank you. I'm saying that even though they have dress suggestions that don't include shorts (nice, smart, dress, or otherwise), no one will stop you, so you can wear whatever you want. Wingman2010 Posted October 15, 2017 #16 Share Posted October 15, 2017 We dined in specialty restaurants 4 nights on our recent Harmony cruise. I was dressed mostly business casual, but saw a mix of all kinds of dress (including shorts).
