Dress Code for Specialty Dining

I have been scanning through the threads and see that the rules have been relaxed in the MDR but I am wondering about specialty dining. My husband is so thrilled not to be packing suits but will have dress pants and collared shirts. Will this be OK in all the Specialty Dining Venues? Thanks in advance!!

Long pants and a shirt (can be a golf shirt) with a collar is perfectly fine to wear to any of the Specially Dining restaurants.

Dress suggestions are not enforced, so you can wear whatever you want.

I'm saying that even though they have dress suggestions that don't include shorts (nice, smart, dress, or otherwise), no one will stop you, so you can wear whatever you want.

I always dress smart casual in all the specialty restaurants and have seen people smart and also not smart.

We dined in specialty restaurants 4 nights on our recent Harmony cruise. I was dressed mostly business casual, but saw a mix of all kinds of dress (including shorts).
