Eurodam came out of dry dock mid December of 2015 and I don’t see them on the schedule for the near future

Actually, HAL is one of the few lines that actually take their ships into drydock twice in 5 years, as is mandated. Most lines, when a ship is less than 15 years old, will opt for an in-water diver survey of the hull at the 2.5 year mid-period. HAL traditionally does not. So, if her last docking was Dec of 2015, I would expect another docking in the summer of 2018.

Knowing HAL's general trend, I would expect that dry dock to be later March, into April, or in October - at the change of seasons.

I stand corrected! Just didn’t see her on the schedule with the others for the next year but the sit I checked was suspect

Yes, there is wiggle room in the requirements, as it states "twice in 5 years" not every 2.5 years. So, the window is between 24 months to 36 months since the last drydock.

I have no idea how accurate the information is, but a cruising website that has a lot of information about deck plans & cabins has a Eurodam dry dock listed as April 8-17, 2018.

There is no information provided about what would be done during this dry dock, assuming that the information is accurate.

9 days would be a shorter drydock, so assuming it is in fact a drydock, the implication is that not much significant work is planned. More standard maintenance type items, rather than some huge change.

Check out Thread "Eurodam - Dry Dock", post by Copper10-8, Post #3. Dry Dock scheduled for April. It also lists details of work to be done.

I know for a fact that Eurodam is will be in Dry Dock in the Bahamas toward the end of April 2018.

I just checked again. Make that the beginning, not the end of April 2018.
