diesel1973 Posted October 25, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted October 25, 2017 Evidently there aren't any!
BNBR Posted October 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2017 There is nothing notable around that location. But there is a large shopping center across the street. Just check out Oakwood Plaza restaurants if you are simply looking for a place to grab a bite. The Ale House is pretty decent. Also a Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine which is a little chain here and good if you want Cuban food.
DaveOKC Posted October 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2017 Lots of fast food places right by Hyatt House in Dania. But, sit down dining about 1/2 mile away (walkable but not close).

BNBR Posted October 26, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 26, 2017 Thanks everyone.Millers looks interesting! It's a chain sports bar that started in Florida. It's a decent place, good value and good vibe. I don't nornally recommend chain restaurants but where you are staying, it's the best spot other than Las Vegas Cuban. Las Vegas is a local chain, and I think the one in Hollywood near your hotel is the original restaurant. It's good.
diesel1973 Posted October 26, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted October 26, 2017 I'm open to trying any type of food but "The War Department" might not go for the Cuban food. She is not very adventurous when it comes to food!LOL Thanks for the suggestion.

She is not very adventurous when it comes to food!LOL Thanks for the suggestion. Cuban food isnt adventurous, at all. It's maybe a little boring if anything! Both Las Vegas and Miller's will offer a menu that's "Florida-ish" enough to feel like you did something local-ish. Personally I like both!
