Our BD balcony, more than roomy for 2, really don't need a mini suite. Much rather cruise more often with the savings.

No problem w 9282 by design. Michael is RS for this section, very nice & friendly.

 

Door decorations all week outside cabin doors. Passage can be an issue w walkers & wheelchairs. Photos are from Fwd Starboard.

Is it customary to tip, additionally, not just daily service charge, the room steward? Ours has been good. If so, what does anyone suggest? $20? $40? More??? I just don’t know protocol. Thx

I like to hear your post cruise comments & thoughts, and I always write up something.

 

On RS, it isn't a custom, but we generally do about $20 to $30 for good service and hand it to them early, like this evening. Also, write a Hero Card from Guest Services, it is good for them.

Not OP but we were in 9876 on BA and thought it was a fantastic location. No noise issues and very convenient to dining and activities.

We got off the Breakaway last Sunday & agree with you about category BD balcony being roomy enough for two people. My DH & I both said any more than 2 people in the room we thought would feel too tight especially when getting ready for the day or for dinner.

Can you go to the bar and get a drink or do you have to pay the cover charge to even go to the bar? The Margaritas sound good on the menu they have would love to have 1, 2 or 10 ;p

Thanks, Bill and I can spot AOS starboard side on binoculars as we sail north at 15 knots. Photo has a dot at best.

 

Tonight, just 1 neighbor w porch light on AFT.

 

Meatball, I will ask our server Leo in morning about packing some prime ribs to go.

Almost 1,200 minutes on 1 GB/250 plan ... only on the BA. Something fun & interesting to chat about ahead, for days & weeks, if not months from now.

 

All my bags are packed and ready to go ... not leaving on a jet plane, but ...

I am self carrying off tomorrow. Last Breakaway trip I did it was an absolute nightmare getting off the ship and just as had once I got down into luggage area/customs area. I got in line to get off the ship at 8:45am, I didn't leave the pier till 11:30. I'm hoping this trip isn't so bad. Finding my luggage took me close to 20-25 minutes alone.
