Coral Princess Nightclub

I am booked on the Coral for an upcoming partial Panama Canal cruise. I have searched for this answer and I cannot seem to find a definitive one . Is there late night dancing on the Coral similar to what you would find at Skywalkers and Club 6 (Regal/Royal) ? I am not interested in ballroom , but something with a DJ . If they do, where do they do it?

Digging out the Patters from my cruise on Coral, each night in Explorer's Lounge the DJ took over ('til late) after the scheduled evening activity of usually either a game show or Princess Pop Star.

 

Of course your mileage may vary. Especially as my cruise was in 2009.

Just off the Coral and that is correct. There was a DJ in the Explorer's Lounge after the usual evening activities. He plays late into the evening depending on the crowd.

Good to hear . I was hoping that was the case ,but I guess I am used to the explorers lounge on the other ships playing more Barry Manila’s , Sinatra and Paso Doble / Rumba music then Bruno Mars , Ed Sheeren or Journey .

On our Panama canal cruise (full transit) this year on the Island, it was a ghost town on board after 11. Even in the casino. We'd get the grandparents to watch the kids and want to go out, only to find there was no where to go. It was an older demographic on our cruise.

Usually this is the music in the Wheelhouse Bar. Explorer's usually has a party band.

I guess I am just used to the Skywalkers and Club 6 venues and haven’t spent any significant time at explorers in my previous cruises .

Hi Guys, sorry to crash this thread, just wanted to say hi, how are you both going? did you enjoy the Coral? we are on it in April. Have a great Xmas.
