Pub lunch is delicious- I have had the fish and chip and the shrimp. My favorite dessert is the baked Alaska on the last night in the dining room. If you are adventurous try the escargot- where else can you try it for free? I like anything with shrimp!

 

My son also loves the escargot....he looks forward to it on every cruise!

When asking my Husband what his favorite food is on Princess - without hesitation he said ESCARGOT....hope they never stop serving it!

Stupid question: I'm a maple syrup purist; no Log Cabin or Aunt Jemima allowed. Must be boiled sap from a maple tree. Do they have real maple syrup on board or do I need to take some with me (Trader Joe's has small, 1/4 cup bottles that would travel nicely)?

BYOS (bring your own syrup). And be sure to order the James Beard french toast in the MDR - that'll be the perfect way to enjoy your syrup!

I enjoyed it, too. Before I tried it, I asked a waitress what it was like and she said it's not so much about the snail as it is the seasoned butter. I agree with her.

At one time, one of Princess's greatest desserts was any of their soufflés. They would appear on the menu multiple times throughout a cruise. Now, I consider myself lucky if I get one once on a 14-day cruise.

Hands down for me is the goat cheese souffle. Truly wish I had their recipe.
