Hi- Has anyone been offered a move-over for the January 6th trip to Mexico on the Ruby? I was just wondering, as I just saw that it is completely sold out. I know that we have not been given a stateroom as of yet...

But “Sold Out” May well be accounting for the guarantee staterooms.

We booked a guarantee...once.

Our category was sold out for weeks and we were sure we'd be getting an upgrade. Nope.

Same category, but an excellent location and a wonderful cabin.

It’s not just the category that’s sold out, it’s the entire ship. I’m excited for whatever comes our way!

They often block off all the cabins when they're moving people around and offering upsells. They did it just the other day to a cruise for my friends. They were offered an upsell and I checked to see what the cabin availability was and everything was marked as "sold" but I knew it wasn't really. It's just one of their processes. Keep checking. It may come back with a few cabins left after a few days.

That the ship is shown as Sold Out does not mean that all cabins have been assigned. They may be offering upsells to fill higher category cabins and free up some lower ones.
