Roatan 2 ships

Every time we’ve been to Roatan, we’ve been the only ship. On our upcoming Pearl cruise it looks like we’ll be there with the Getaway. I’m assuming that one of us will have to tender, is this correct?

Yes or they might use the dock at Mahogany Bay if there are no other ships in port. Norwegian always uses the Roatan pier.

Wonderful! Thank you very much! I checked the schedule and it looks like it will be the Pearl, Getaway, & a Regent ship in port that day.

Recently the Getaway got the dock space and we had to tender from the Pearl.

Another rule of thumb all things being equal and the scheduling -

The larger bigger ship will get the pier/dock causing the least inconvenience (tendering) to more people.

 

Roatan:

- Coxen Hole pier dock space for one ship

- Mahogany Bay has pier dock space for two ships

Mahogany Bay is owned by Carnival and only services its subsidiaries. Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, and their subsidiaries only use Coxen Hole.
