Courtyard By Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach

We have always stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th st. pre cruise. We are thinking of trying the Courtyard By Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach for our next cruise in November. The Trip advisor reviews seemed good but I am wondering what cruise critic members think of the hotel for a two night pre cruise stay.

We stayed there pre cruise in May and it was very nice. Great location and everything is right out on the street that you could possibly want - shopping, dining, beach.

LOVE this hotel! Much better for a two night stay than the Embassy. Fantastic rooms with amazing views. Lots to walk to in the immediate vicinity.

Best means different things to different people.

 

For convenience I would recommend in this order Uber or Lyft.......Or a taxi.

We stayed there last year New Year's Eve. Loved the hotel, pool nice & sun deck a level above had good views of beach. We were a family of 4 so we booked a limo service with VIP for $100 to take us to POM. Non of the transport shuttle service include the courtyard so you will need to make your own arrangements.

Thanks everyone for your replies. The Embassy Suites came in at almost $50.00 cheaper per night per room and our group decided with the free cocktails and free breakfast and four rooms for two nights it was a better deal for us. Maybe we will try the Courtyard next trip.

FYI, the Courtyard by Marriott has shuttle service. They use Cocoa Beach Shuttle and provide you with 1 free fare and discounted fare for everyone else in your party.
