I noticed there was dancing in the atrium - not something I would do with my mom - but I know others like to dance.

I will look to answer more questions as I roam the ship today for our 1st official sea day.

Last night the show was uptown - the theatre ended up being pretty full. It was a really good show - they had a ton of energy and were good singers/dancers and pretty easy on the eyes. If they are on board I would recommend seeing it.

 

After the show we went to the Martini bar for a couple of drinks.

Both were really good.

Last night was also the silent disco - I am not a dancer but it was fun to watch for a few minutes.

Thanks! A lot of good info here. We board for our back to back as you are leaving. Enjoy your time with your Mom! I often travel with my daughter too. Too bad you couldn't get to Key West. I'm looking forward to that stop. I've never been there.

Thank you very much for your live review from the Celebrity Equinox. We are firsttimers on Celebrity and are booked on the Equinox to the Eastern Caribbean. We have also booked the Concierge Class. Your review is very helpful and the photos are wonderful. We have previously sailed many times with MSC and RCI and we are very excited to try Celebrity.

This morning we slept in a bit and did the buffet for breakfast. According to Mom the coffee isn’t good - so as soon as we finished breakfast and headed down to get her coffee on 5. I will take her word on this one.

 

We got an email that we didn’t meet the minimum for a connections party - but got an invitation for the the party at 10:15. I want to it for 15 minutes but wanted to go to he heart of the operation tour. We got there at 10:35 and were group 9 - big crowd.

 

 

I have more pictures coming later from the tour - I took them with my camera vs phone.

 

Next stop - lunch in the MDR

 

Appetizer - mom got a salad and I didn’t take a picture, it’s just lettuce

Lunch continued...

Fries were good - Panini was nothing special. Spaghetti was decent with some seasoning.

Mom said Mouse was just ok - my Creme Brule was good.

 

After lunch time for the pool - got a bit of rain this afternoon - by 5 the pool was a ghost town.

 

 

Today’s random snack - we didn’t eat it and saving room for Murano.

That makes more sense. I couldn’t understand why you wanted a decent room and needed it to be expensive. 🤔

 

We had a room booked in the area a few weeks before Easter before a cruise and it is expensive. We also booked the same place before manother cruise at the end of Oct and it isn’t much cheaper and was basically told it was a busy time and was the going rate.

Tonight is a magician in the theatre - plenty of seats at 8:50 for the 9 am show - mom is falling asleep if that is any indication of how good it is. Pretty lame - bailing ship 25 minutes in before I lose mom completely!
