Flying the Sunday before Presidents Day

Has anyone noticed or have bought airfare the Sunday before Presidents Day? Is it typically higher? I know a lot of schools have the Week of Presidents day off..

Do you mean make a purchase on the Sunday before President's Day, or buy a ticket to fly on this date?

 

It's a school holiday week for many US schools. High flight demand usually equals higher prices. You can price it out and see what it is.

Thanks I figured it might be that way. I’m going to change date of cruise!:D

Any air tickets around a school break will normally be higher. Sundays may be more expensive than Saturdays. Sometimes we have flown on Saturday and used the savings for an extra hotel night.

I suspect this would vary by destination. Some locations aren't affected by President's Day at all.

We're flying to FLL the Friday before Presidents Day and the flight prices have just been going higher and higher.
