Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring travel corkscrews on board with you to open the wine that you carry on? Thank you!

Yes, you can carry one on with no problem. If you are flying, check the TSA rules.

We learned a hard lesson when my husband forgot to take our cork screw out of his toiletry bag in his carry on when we flew last summer. The cork screw had a little one inch knife, which the TSA agent told us was a no-no. But the three inch auger, aka cork screw part, with a sharp point was not an issue at all. :rolleyes:Go figure.

corkscrews with foil cutters without a blade are not banned by TSA. Corkscrews with knife, Swiss army knives and Leathermen are allowed in checked baggage and are fine with Carnival as well.

I keep this one in my makeup bag at all times! No problems flying (with a checked bag) and you never know when you might just need a corkscrew! :D

We have always called room service for ours. There is no charge for it. Just an FYI if the room steward says they can't get it.
