Drink Taxes are are not that much, maybe $1.50 if less per drink while in US Port why get pissed over that ? just wondering

Yes, but as others have said... it's not that much... it only matters to WWHH...others could care less about the taxes... all is good when sail away.. enjoy the cruise..

You did not “already pay” any state taxes on the beverage package. Just the cost of the package and the gratuities. This is they City of New York sticking it to you.

You only pay taxes while docked in a US port, that's US law not NCL
