Flight Time Change at EWR

We are a family of 8 scheduled to disembark Adventure of the Seas on Friday, July 6 at Port Liberty. Docking time is scheduled as 7:00 am. We had planned to do walk off as early as possible and take a taxi to EWR for our 12:30 flight on Delta. I was just informed that our flight is changed to 11:10. Should we stick with our plan? If we are in a long security line at EWR, will they let us go ahead if our flight is early? I have seen this done at several airports. There is a flight at 2:45, but not enough seats for all 8 of us. Advice is MOST welcome. Thank you.

As mentioned on your other thread...if you haven't accepted the change, have Delta change you to another flight.

I too would call Delta and find out what other options might exist.

Delta has changed us to a 2:45 flight.
