Mutumbojimbo Posted March 2, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2018 In my experiences, the line for Guys will be at its longest on Embarkation day. I'd try BlueIguana, the buffet, or the deli. Come back to Guy's later.
Rare CruisinCrow Posted March 2, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2018 If I was starving, I'd pick the one with the shorter line. :)
Georgie562 Posted March 2, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Both. a burrito from Blue Iguanas and a burger from Guys, wash it down with a margarita from Blue Iguanas bar ;)

dsotm73 Posted March 2, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Get your food at Blue Iguana first to eat while you're standing in line for Guy's.
skrufy Posted March 2, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Get an early check in time, go straight to Guys. You can grab a burger, burrito and a cold drink before the crowd arrives.

JohnSpo Posted March 2, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Guys Burgers is my first choice. I am usually starving by the time I board so that sure hits the spot with a beer on tap.
kc58ab Posted March 2, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Get your food at Blue Iguana first to eat while you're standing in line for Guy's. [emoji23] lol now that is a good idea! Or go to Barbecue, Italian, or Asian areas if ur ship has it bc they will be the shortest wait time of all. Many aren’t aware they exist on embarkation day. Cruiseman38 Posted March 2, 2018 #15 Share Posted March 2, 2018 If you have the BBQ place on board, I would suggest going there as the lines are usually not long as no one knows about it yet. LOL!!!! Have a great cruise!!!!
WassupBro Posted March 2, 2018 #16 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Blue Iguana. Guy's was over the top greasy.

Have a great cruise!!!! I have read more then a few post on here the suggest the BBQ place on board, SUX! I cannot say this first hand because I have never tried. However, from the bad reviews that I have read, its probably the #1 reason why the lines are usually not long.
PrettyHazardous Posted March 2, 2018 #18 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Neither those places are too busy. I would go to Jiji's or Cucina!
Rare pirate4me2 Posted March 2, 2018 #19 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Blue Iguana! Their taco salads are yummy. My hubby likes to hit up Cucina on embarkation day as that spot is usually quiet, nobody is aware they are open for lunch yet!

Was on Splendor last year and hit the BBQ place on deck 10 above the Lido buffet and it was very good. We heard nothing but compliments from everyone that ate there all week. Have a great cruise!!!! We gave the Pig & Anchor a try for the first time on our Vista cruise last year. The BBQ chicken was okay, but I've had better. The BBQ pork was overcooked. We weren't all that impressed. I doubt if it's much better on any of the other ships that have it.
ProgRockCruiser Posted March 2, 2018 #24 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Blue Iguana Bar. For a nice margarita. My stomach can wait, my liver needs servicing right away! Then I will go find a burger.

The pulled pork and brisket were great.
