bluesea777 Posted March 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2018 The last few years NCL has been allocating certain colour of luggage tags to each ship. I have saved a few - can others fill in the missing colours? RD29P5 Posted March 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2018 I've always been under the impression that the color had more to do with where the luggage was to end up on the ship, than any specific color related to the ship.

No, each ship is assigned a color. Clearly marked on the tag is either Forward, Aft and your cabin number.

norway olin Posted March 10, 2018 #18 Share Posted March 10, 2018 Epic is Lime I have had Teal on Epic and Getaway. I was under the impression it had to do with the loading point and temporary storage locations on the ship
SeaShark Posted March 10, 2018 #19 Share Posted March 10, 2018 Each ship is not assigned a specific color luggage tag. Each SAILING is assigned a different color tag. IOW, this week's sailing might be LIME, next week's sailing might be ORANGE. This is done so that if a guest left the tag on the luggage after embarking, that there would be less chance that outgoing luggage at the end of their cruise would be confused by incoming luggage from the next cruise (keeping in mind that disembarkation tags might be torn and fall off). bluesea777 Posted March 10, 2018 Author #20 Share Posted March 10, 2018 (edited) Embarkation tags, not disembarkation tags. It's the colour of luggage tag that you receive with the eDocs. But it looks like SeaShark is correct. Edited March 10, 2018 by bluesea777

Not sure why you are arguing with a 2-year old post on a dead thread.
