Cabin doorway, bumps?

Please help settle a family disagreement. Is the entrance to a cabin completely flat or is there a bump or ledge?

 

I want to book a regular suite (not accessible) because of available choices. We are disagreeing on whether I’ll be able to get my wheelchair in by myself (already checked the width and it’s ok). The ship is the Zaandam if that helps.

 

Flat carpeting or bump?

I don't recall any threshold bumps with regular cabins. The bathroom will have a step up, however.

No bumps entering staterooms. Wheelchair can wheel inside the door but will not be able to go much further unless you have a suite stateroom.. There will be a step up into the bathroom and a step over to go to a balcony.

The space at the foot of the bed (or the transition between the entrance hallway and the foot of the bed) may be narrower than the door. I.e., there's a jog to one side to get past the bed.

Unless you book a Neptune Suite, you are going to have a hard time getting around in the cabin.

Even in the Neptune Suites, there will still be a step up into the bath room and a bump to get over to get onto the balcony.
