Casino MLife

Thanks for the info. I called the number. We are both Sapphire with MLife. The only benefit we have would be priority embarkation. We have that now since we are both Elite with Celebrity. I guess we have to gamble more when we are on land.

well, you might consider doing it in reverse and using your Celeb Elite status to get mlife gold. It means you won't get the $125 credit when you're on board but you'll enjoy Gold benefits when youre in the casinos.

Hello, I can’t seem to find any info on this, but if you link your mlife status to your reservation do you still receive Captains club credits for the cruise?

Thanks!

Yes, you get Captain's Club credits but as far as casino benefits you can use M-Life benefits or Blue Chip benefits but not both.

Here's the MLife Offer I received via email last week.  When I entered the booking code on the Celebrity website, I didn't see any more of a discount than not, but maybe one has to call, as indicated in the offer.

I just spoke with a Celebrity rep about possible benefits for my March 16, 2019 cruise.  I'm currently at the Gold level on MLife. I was told that there would be no benefits because my booking was a "group" booking.  My booking was made onboard a Celebrity cruise last year and I transferred the booking to my usual TA.  There was never any mention by Celebrity or my TA that I now had a "group" booking.  Evidently this eliminated any additional MLife benefits I might have been entitled to.

We are Elite Plus so Platinum with M Life. Has anyone taken the free cruise ? We don`t play that much on our cruises but we do play twice a year in Vegas. What are the restrictions on the free cruise ?

You have to earn your Platinum status with MGM properties in order to get the free cruise. In other words you have to play a lot or spend a lot on rooms and hotel services. The Platinum status you receive from being Elite Plus is a reciprocal status and will only qualify you for benefits at the hotels.

Agreed.  There seems to be some confusion about how it works.  You explained it well.

If you are a high level on Captains Club, don't forget the perks work both ways. We are Elite Plus on Celebrity, so are able to get a Platinum M Life card.

since you were mLife Platinum, did you get the free annual cruise on Celebrity?

edit:

i quoted from Page 1.

my  question was answered on Page 2.

the answer is no free cruise because it was a tier match. mLife Platinum wasnt earned in a MGM casino.

so if you're mLife Platinum and Blue Chip Sapphire, you get either $200 obc from mLife OR $500 free slot play from Blue Chip while on a Celebrity cruise?

not both?
