robandheidi Posted March 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Looking for recommendations for a pre cruise hotel close to port Everglades that has transportation from airport and to cruise port Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Clarea Posted March 26, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2018 We like the Springhill Suites in Dania Beach. Free airport shuttle. They also have a shuttle to the cruise port, but I believe there is a small charge for that now.
not-enough-cruising Posted March 26, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Embassy Suites on 17th street is my “go to” for a quick overnight pre-cruise stay. They have a shuttle to the port for a fee (but we usually grab an Uber, I hate waiting for a shuttle to fill up) and free buffet breakfast. myfuzzy Posted March 27, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 27, 2018 As many who respond, you will get as many suggestions.....Main question you didn't offer....Date....prices vary greatly depending on time of year....also, they do book up fast, so book as early as you know you are sailing for the best prices. Most hotels near the port do not offer transportation from the airport, taxi or uber is cheap. Some offer transportation to the pier as well, as a charge per person, again taxi usually is the best way
myfuzzy Posted March 27, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 27, 2018 I just checked let me add....I didn't suggest uber to the port because of some kind of "waybill" that needs to be presented to security. I'm not sure, but I would guess PE hasn't worked out the logistics on uber yet

They allowed me to check in early and check out late. The people really made it as they could not do enough for me. The breakfast was excellent, and transportation was super easy. Is that a bit steep or typical for Hyatt Place in FLL? I've stayed at Hyatt Regency locations that are way less than that.
