CruiserBruce Posted April 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Sounds like Uber or taxi for sure.
Rare Keith1010 Posted April 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2018 CruiserBruce is correct. Go with Uber or Lyft or a Taxi but I would go with Uber or Lyft as my first choice(s) over a taxi. Keith
kapcruiser Posted April 4, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted April 4, 2018 I guess I need to find a store on the way to stop at, then call another Uber to bring to ship.
CruiserBruce Posted April 4, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2018 That is not the point. If you are going to stop and shop, you will probably be able to pay/tip the taxi/Uber to stand by while you shop. I can't think of any other transport type that you can do that with. Bruin Steve Posted April 4, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 4, 2018 Here's an alternate solution--since I assume you will have your luggage with you... Take an Uber or shuttle directly from the Airport to the Cruise terminal...Drop off your luggage. Then pick up the free Passport Shuttle right outside the Queen Mary--right next to the terminal and take it to First and Elm. Walk about one block north on Elm to Broadway and two blocks east to Atlantic...There is a Vons Supermarket at Broadway and Atlantic where you can buy anything you want--and won't have to deal with your luggage while doing this (consider having a large knapsack or something like that with you to carry your purchases. Then walk back to the Passport route and take the free shuttle back to the terminal. Otherwise, you likely need to leave that Uber in "holding time" while you shop just so that you have some place to leave your luggage.

I think we will take an Uber to Vons Supermarket to get wine and soda.
