Apple products for sale vs. excursion?

My partner and I have over $300 obc on our upcoming cruise and we don’t want to “waste” it on an excursion we can buy with our own money for half the price. On a previous cruise they had apple products, and I really want the new apple airpods which retail for $159 plus tax in the states.

 

My question is, do I wait until I board to see if the airpods I want are on board and book the excursion then or should I book the excursion with our cruise credit in case it will be full by the time I find out what the deal is.

 

EDIT: We are on the Getaway 7 day Western Carib. in May 2018.

Was it on a previous NCL cruise that you saw Apple products for sale? I've never seen them on any NCL ship.

It was on a previous Celebrity sailing about 2 years ago. I was wishful thinking/hoping the duty free shop maybe?

I agree, i have never seen apple products on NCL ships. :confused:

Duty Free on Getaway has booze and cigarettes, there is also makeup from the high end companies and, of course, the requisite jewelry and watches.

I love Getaway but the shopping is the worst we have had at sea.

 

There were no Apple products last fall on her.

Probably best bet is some photo gear but even that is expensive compared to the outside world.

Sorry never seen apple products on Ncl. Celebrity has an apple lounge and are an approved seller. I’d book the trip

I've never seen Apple. But any electronic gear I have seen has been expensive compared to what you can buy it for elsewhere.

I was on Getaway the first week of March this year. There were no Apple products for sale in the shops on board. That does not mean that they won't get them, but I would be very surprised if they do.
