Clarea Posted April 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2018 We like Hotel Jazz. Close to metro, Airbus stop, Playa Catalunya, and Las Ramblas.
dogs4fun Posted April 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2018 I've also stayed at the Jazz - great location. The Continental is right on the Ramblas (if you can stand the pink).

Rio1978 Posted April 10, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Depends on what you want to spend and what you expect from the hotel and room. Hotel Leonardo Las rambles if modern and has quality rooms and a very good breakfast. 5 mins walk from Las rambles so slightly quieter. All rooms sound proofed . But if you want to be right on Las rambles and don' mind basic I also have experience of some others . Let me know what you want

Rio1978 Posted April 10, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Curato CuratoNaciones, basic but plenty of old world Spanish character right in law ramblas Rambles by pillow, basic ,modern but up a flight of stairs to View images
EnricM Posted April 10, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Obviously, there's no accountancy for taste, but Cuatro Naciones is representative of nothing, just a horrendously tacky touristy hotel, 'thematized' for unaware visitors and located in one of the noisiest parts of Les Rambles. Just sayin'.
George C Posted April 11, 2018 #12 Share Posted April 11, 2018 We really liked universal Barcelona walking distance to las rambles, several really cheap tapas bars really close, cool roof top bar and pool
Propellor1969 Posted April 16, 2018 #13 Share Posted April 16, 2018 We booked the Hotel Europark last night for two nights in June. They are currently having a spring sale for 25% off if you go directly to their website. The promocode is SPRINGBLOOM. It had several great reviews on Cruisecritic. The price for two rooms for two nights in June was 540 euros.

Traveling Library Posted April 18, 2018 #15 Share Posted April 18, 2018 We like the Regencia Colon, the 3 star sister hotel to the 4 star Hotel Colon. Very nice and right in the Gothic Quarter. Near to our favorite tapas bar: Neyras.

lamchops Posted April 20, 2018 #17 Share Posted April 20, 2018 I stayed at the Silken Ramblas last month and it was a Hotels.com booking. It’s a 4 star hotel priced very reasonably. $79eu in March but will be more during peak season. It’s a 5 minute walk from the aerobus at plaza cataluna. It’s also a 15 minute walk down to the Columbus monument to catch the shuttle to the ship. The shuttle was $4eu rt.
