jamscckmc Posted April 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Going on a premiere casino cruise. I did not get FTTF because of priority boarding. I assume we board after Diamond and Platinum but before FTTF. Our luggage tags say priority also does that mean we get priority luggage delivery? Even though our boarding passes say priority I'm assuming we do not get early stateroom access. Not looking for anything I'm not entitled to, just want to clarify. Thanks
firefly333 Posted April 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2018 The cruise I was on last Dec, was the winners of the premiere casino cruises, so maybe its unusual, but we had over 500 diamond and platinum on that cruise. People won laptops and other big prizes, some didnt, and wondered if it had been worth it. I never had been on a cruise before with that many diamonds!!! and so many platinums. I would still expect a lot of waiting. But hey if you arent platinum yet and get priority boarding, thats a little something.
jamscckmc Posted April 29, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted April 29, 2018 I've done premier before but also had FTTF so wondering about the difference. This is my last cruise as gold so he next one won't matter.

Thanks I previously stated your cabin will be ready when you board and your luggage will be priority too. I saw no difference in who was being let in first. Diamond, Platinum, Premiere, FTTF all followed the "Priority" boarding sign. In March I was Gold on the premiere cruise and in April I became Platinum and there was no difference in wait time. This was on the Pride from Baltimore and overall they are the most organized port I've sailed from yet! Enjoy your Premiere...it was a great cruise! Thanks I just returned from a casino cruise on the Glory out of Miami. It seems that like most Carnival policies, boarding order can vary from ship to ship, port to port, and even be different on the same ship but another date. In Miami on April 21, Platinums and Diamonds boarded right after the wedding parties. They were followed by FTTF's and then casino priority groups. exarkkun Posted April 30, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 30, 2018 I'm excited to read that you had the "old" steakhouse menu! We sail on the 12th, did you happen to find out when they are switching? The new one doesn't look as good.
Rare chasinraynbowz Posted April 30, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 30, 2018 We are going on the Dream premier in September. I was under the impression that while we get to board early (after FTTF), our cabin would not be ready. Was I told wrong?

I was under the impression that while we get to board early (after FTTF), our cabin would not be ready. Was I told wrong? In my experience no the rooms are not ready. That would add about 400 people sp don't think is possible. Just FFTF, Diamond and Platinum rooms are ready

Just FFTF, Diamond and Platinum rooms are ready Thanks. Thats what I thought. One last question. You say 400 people. Again, I was under the impression that they only book around 100 cabins each premier. Was that incorrect?
