Rare rafinmd Posted May 7, 2018 #28 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Moving? You bet. Just a little before NA comes into view. Me should be able to see the departure and get the good views from Juneau. Roy

Happily@Sea Posted May 7, 2018 #31 Share Posted May 7, 2018 I won't be able to hear her, on tablet. She and Zaandam had quite horn fest last week near Acapulco.

St Pete Cruiser Posted May 7, 2018 #38 Share Posted May 7, 2018 So long Maasdam; you are due back early, this summer for dry dock, before you become an "explorer" to the Pacific.

Is my understanding correct that HAL will place kayaks on one of the open decks for her EXC Cruises? If so, where? I surely hope they don't mess her stern up as they have done with Veendam and Rotterdam.

They are considering them for Amsterdam as well.
lka1012 Posted May 7, 2018 #42 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Phone call came in delayed post. Though we have to say good bye for the summer Addicts I promise you this I'll send all my thoughts in a post Sealed with a TOOT!
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 7, 2018 #43 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Sorry I didn't make it back in time to watch the Maasdam sail away. It was dinner time.

Thanks for the update of what I "thought" I knew. Zodiacs make more sense than a smaller water craft for a large vessel.
joekerstef Posted May 12, 2018 #45 Share Posted May 12, 2018 Thanks to those who posted the screen shots! I was on board; too busy looking outside during sail in and waving during sailaway to get too many screen shots myself.
