Hey Guys

How are the Wifi quality/Speed on Reflection? We have the unlimited internet package.

I would say that it is about that of what you use to get at home on a dial up modem. Maybe a little faster. It also depends on how many people are using the internet and time of day.

I have conquered the internet on celebrity.

first: corners are almost always an issue.

second: busy is often a login issue. that means the on board server/router needs to

be rebooted due to memory fragmentation. try a different location where there is

a different antenna and therefore router.

third: off hours sometimes better but crew usage then competes.

fourth: speed degrades based on the transfer size, pictures can cost serious speed

reduction.

fifth: logout and login frequently.

These work on all ships.

if you master the above then you can achieve dazzling speed.

I would regularly transfer 15MB files in less than 1 minute. nearly every day.

on transatlantics(5 time), transpacific, Alaska, Hawaii(5 times) and more

both M and S class. just about sailed them all.

Recently off Reflection. Generally absolutely fine but each day about 4pm it seemed really slow for about an hour. Could be coincidence or it could be that is the time lots of guests start to return to staterooms, check mail, download pictures.....

But we should enjoy the ship, and this not with the nose in the computer :D

thanks guys!
