laurieb Posted May 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Prices did not go up for this weekend's promotion; I cancelled and rebooked our Feb 21 2019 cruise for the additional obc. It cost me 100.00 but I now have 650.00 OBC instead of just 150.00. As of today the Le Club OBC is still included on the cruise

Grandma Cruising Posted May 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2018 What is the Le Club OBC? If you book a cruise when on board as a member of Le Club Voyage (basically someone who has sailed on Azamara (or Celebrity)) you get OBC - $300 if you book in the first half of the cruise and $200 if in the second half. This page of Azamara’s website tells you about Le Club Voyage https://www.azamaraclubcruises.co.uk/le-club-voyage/le-club-voyage-programme/member-benefits Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare uktog Posted May 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2018 Not quite. Everyone who books onboard gets the onboard credit, not just repeat cruisers. I suppose technically everyone onboard would be an LCV member by the end of the cruise anyway but the booking terms and conditions make no mention of LCV in relation to the OBC. What LCV members get is a discount determined by their level of loyalty.
Grandma Cruising Posted May 28, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 28, 2018 The Booking Onboard OBC is specifically mentioned in the list of LCV benefits though. I suppose as you say once you have finished your first cruise you are eligible for LCV membership. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Grandma Cruising Posted May 28, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 28, 2018 I’m not sure, but It’s definitely in the LCV benefits list at all levels. Here’s a screenshot of the benefits for Adventurer & Explorer levels. We were given it in November when we booked a cruise for 2019 onboard. tgg Posted May 28, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 28, 2018 Thanks for the explanations. When the OP said "As of today the Le Club OBC is still included on the cruise" I didn't realize she was talking about a credit for booking onboard. I thought there might be a new OBC for LCV members. With the included LCV internet minutes reduced and the LCV bags of laundry reduced by half, it was probably too much to hope for.:(

wripro Posted May 28, 2018 #11 Share Posted May 28, 2018 Here's my take on this. If you miss a sale don't worry. Like a bus there'll be another one along in fifteen minutes!
tgg Posted May 28, 2018 #12 Share Posted May 28, 2018 I thought the LCV quarterly promotion was a percentage off the fare, not OBC. Is it both?
laurieb Posted May 29, 2018 Author #13 Share Posted May 29, 2018 The OBC isn’t LCV Sent from my iPhone using Forums
laurieb Posted May 29, 2018 Author #14 Share Posted May 29, 2018 The OBC is a quarterly offer not an LCV offer. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
