Neptune suites on Holland American Oosterdam

We’re cruising on Holland America oosterdam November 18 on a Western Caribbean cruise. We decided to pamper ourselves and we reserved Neptune suites on deck 7 the two aft cabins 7151 and 7142 After booking the cabins I started to wonder how loud are the motors when you’re sitting on the deck’s? Thanks

I've cruised in the aft Suites aboard the Zuiderdam, Nieuw Amsterdam and the Noordam, sister ships to the Oosterdam. These suites, have huge balconies which are very quiet and peaceful. I will not book any other suite if sailing aboard HAL.;)

About the only thing you're going to hear from either of these two balconies is the sound of the ocean below. You've got cabins above (not the Lido Deck), and there are at least 9 decks between you and the engines in the bowels of the ship. Enjoy the aft wrap-around; they're lovely.

OP You will not be disturbed from engine noise.

You can't hear the engines outside of the engine room...no worries! It's not like an outboard motor on a small boat! You will, however, hear wind!
