cruisedreamin-gang Posted June 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2018 We’re taking the grandchildren on a cruise in October. I’m wondering if they can spray silly string as we sail away.

JayDeeJay Posted June 11, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 11, 2018 I’m guessing not - and it may be confiscated at the scanner. If it were MY ship I would not allow it.

blarko Posted June 11, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 11, 2018 My experience with silly string is it difficult to clean up and leaves discoloration wherever it lands. I would say it is not allowed.

RunnerGirl26.2 Posted June 11, 2018 #12 Share Posted June 11, 2018 The one time we had a balcony, I blew bubbles during sail away. That could be an option, but clean up any spills as the liquid is slippery.

That could be an option, but clean up any spills as the liquid is slippery. And if you do the bubbles, please be aware of the people around you. We were on the Lido deck during sail away and the people next to us were blowing the bubbles. It was cute at first until some of the bubbles landed in my drink of the day.
