The Upgrade Fairy Lives - and here is proof

We leave on Thursday for Journey to Antiquities cruise and received an email this morning indicating we have been upgraded to a PJS ... on level 8.  The extra space is always nice and the two televisions are quite “over the top” but FREE LAUNDRY is the best!  My frazzled daughter says she will just pack dirty clothes to save some time packing! 😂

How wonderful. I have heard of this before, whether for a upgarde for a upcharge price or just a" fairy godmother "upgrade '

Too bad Vikng does not have a casino.... you were on a lucky streak...

I think NOT having a casino is one reason many people book Viking along with no children!

Congratulations, baycruising!!!! This is so exciting. On our last cruise, we were on the same floor as the Owner's Suite and loved it! So convenient to everything, and the swiftness of the elevator made it so easy to get to other spots on the ship. We will always try for the 7th deck - there are only 4 DV1 cabins there, so we have to book early, but it was so nice to be so close to the Explorer's Lounge and so many other things. And it was so quiet because there are no other rooms on the Owner's Suite side and only a handful of cabins on our part of the deck. There are no laundry rooms on deck 7 or 8 because all the other cabins get free laundry service, but even on a 15 day cruise, it didn't pose any big problems for us. There also wasn't more ship sway than I thought there would be, so enjoy your stay on Deck 7! Bon Voyage, baycruising!!
