SouthLyonCruiser Posted July 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2018 We are used to taking cabs from the airport to the cruise terminal but this time we are going a day early and are staying at the Best Western Plus Miami Airport North Hotel and Suites. We are flying into Fort Lauderdale and want to know the cheapest way to get to the hotel from the airport. We called the hotel and their shuttle only goes to Miami International. Sorry this is on the Norwegian section but I could not find anywhere else to put this.

optimusprime82 Posted July 2, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 2, 2018 Take a Lyft or Uber. Just make sure to request a large enough vehicle of you're traveling with a lot of people and/or luggage. Sent from my LG-H871 using Forums mobile app

Rare Oviedo32765 Posted July 2, 2018 #14 Share Posted July 2, 2018 <snip> the cheapest way to get to the hotel from the airport. We called the hotel <snip> The cheapest I've been able to find will be: $3.75 on a weekday/per person $5.00 on a weekend/holiday/per person For the above fare, you can take TriRail from the Fort Lauderdale Airport to Miami International and then call your hotel for the free shuttle. casofilia Posted July 2, 2018 #16 Share Posted July 2, 2018 There is a free shuttle bus journey from FLL to the TriRail station, than about an hour to MIA station with a "moving walkway" to the airport.

MS52 Posted July 3, 2018 #20 Share Posted July 3, 2018 I just checked. We were charged $47.92 (did not include tip) by Uber from Port of Miami to FLL in April 2018 Small vehicle - there were just 2 of us. Sent from my iPad using Forums
havanadaydreaming Posted July 3, 2018 #21 Share Posted July 3, 2018 last time we took private car, Tahoe, for $100. we had 4 passengers and I wanted my adult son's first cruise to be memorable so I splurged. wound up using same service on return trip since we could just text driver and skip the Miami cab/rideshare line zoo. my wife and i took van shuttle once $15 ea. just walked up outside terminal and asked who had room for two more. pretty easy. FLL to POM was around $30. The trip back hit road construction with a detour on a toll road which bumped us up to $50. I will probably do one of the shuttle buses next time so the rate will be guaranteed.
